Mrs. Dansberry's Bio
Mrs. Amanda Dansberry is an Intervention Specialist at Larry J. Macaluso (LJM) Elementary School. She spent her first 8 years of her teaching career at Red Lion Area Junior High School as a learning support teacher in 7th and 8th grade and then an intermediate learning support teacher at LJM before transferring to her current position.
She attended Lycoming College in Williamsport, P.A. from 1998-2002. She graduated with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Sociology.

After graduating from Lycoming College, Amanda attended Marywood University for an M.S. in Adult Clinical Psychology. |
When working with students with special needs in Scranton, P.A. while she was attending Marywood University, she fell in love with children and wanted to work with them. She returned to Lycoming College to earn my teaching certifications in Elementary Education (K-6), Special Education (K-12) and Social Studies Education (7-12). |
