A Letter From Our Principal

Students, Parents, Staff & Community Members,

Thank you for stopping by the Larry J. Macaluso Elementary School web page. My name is Lee Jordan, and it is my honor and privilege to serve as Principal. I began working with the Red Lion team in 2017 by serving as the Junior High Assistant Principal, as well as Interim Principal at North Hopewell-Winterstown Elementary for multiple stretches of time.  Prior to coming to Red Lion, I served as Dean of Students for Penn Manor School District, and taught at Hambright Elementary School since 2009.

Working at the administrative level in public schools has always been a long time goal and passion of mine. In addition to graduating from the University of Scranton in 2013 with a Master of Science degree in Educational Administration, I have enjoyed a successful teaching career in three public school districts since 2007, teaching students in all grades from K-12, and building lasting professional relationships with colleagues of all grade levels and subjects. It is my hope to build lasting relationships with all of you and to assist you in any and every way to ensure our students have the very best educational experience possible.

On a more personal note, my wife Amanda and I have three little girls (ages 12, 8, and 2) and another little one on the way. I'm a passionate Pittsburgh sports fan, as I am originally from western PA. My favorite hobby is playing guitar and learning/writing new music.

I am very excited to meet and work with all of you!
