Mrs. Markel's Biography Page

Mrs. Markel is starting her seventh year in the Red Lion Area School District. She is excited to be teaching 2nd grade at Larry J. Macaluso. Mrs. Markel grew up in the Red Lion Area School District and loves teaching in her home district. She graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelor of Science in Early Grades Preparation (Prek-4) and a minor in Middle Grades Mathematics. She received her Master's degree in Educational Technology from York College of Pennsylvania. 

 

On a more personal note, Mrs. Markel enjoys crafting, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her husband and 4 year old golden retriever, Izzy. A goal Mrs. Markel would like to accomplish is to travel to all 50 states. She is looking forward to getting to know her class!
