Meet Mrs. Benton
Mrs. Sarah Benton is preparing for her twelfth school year teaching for Red Lion Area School District. Mrs. Benton teaches 4th grade, math and science at Larry J. Macaluso Elementary. Mrs. Benton graduated from Shippensburg University with a Bachelor's degree in grades 4-8 Middle Level Education, concentrated in science and language arts. She then graduated from Penn State University with a Master's Degree in Teaching and Curriculum and most recently graduated from the University of California with a Master's in STEM Education.
On a personal note, Mrs. Benton is 33 years old. In her free time she enjoys being outside, camping, competing in obstacle races, and spending time with her friends and family. She has been married to her husband, Tyler, a York City GVI unit and SWAT team member, for 7 years. Mrs. Benton has three daughters- Ryann (age 5), Reese (age 2) & Rorie who is due at the end of September. She also has two Boston Terriers, Tucker and Charlie, nine chickens and a tank full of fish!
