Welcome to Mrs. Drivas' Third Grade Class!
Welcome to third grade! This is Mrs. Drivas's 19th year with the Red Lion Area School District. Mrs. Drivas has taught reading remediation, kindergarten, second, and third grades. She graduated from Millersville University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. Mrs. Drivas graduated with a master's degree in Reading from Cabrini University.
Mrs. Drivas has a husband, four wonderful children, and a golden retriever named Zeus. Her oldest daughter is going for her doctorate at USC, studying Media Psychology in the world of gaming. Her oldest son attends Penn State Harrisburg for secondary education. Mrs. Drivas also has a son who is a senior at Millersville University studying environmental science and a daughter who is a junior at Dallastown Area High School.
Some of Mrs. Drivas' hobbies include reading, writing, traveling, watching football, and spending time with family and friends. She enjoys bringing her Greek culture into the classroom. She has been to Ireland, England, Wales, the British West Indies, and she had the opportunity to teach a few weeks in Hong Kong. Her dream is to spend a year abroad teaching kids and to bring that expertise back to her Red Lion students.
She's looking forward to a great year in third grade!
