Meet Mrs. Benton

Mrs. Sarah Benton is preparing for her ninth school year teaching for Red Lion Area School District. Mrs. Benton teaches 4th grade, math and science at Larry J. Macaluso Elementary. Mrs. Benton graduated from Shippensburg University with a Bachelor's degree in grades 4-8 Middle Level Education, concentrated in science and language arts. She then graduated from Penn State University with a Master's Degree in Teaching and Curriculum. Currently, Mrs. Benton is working towards a STEM Master's Degree from the California University of Pennsylvania.

On a personal note, Mrs. Benton is 31 years old.  In her free time she enjoys being outside, camping, competing in obstacle races, and spending time with her husband, Tyler, her daughters, Ryann & Reese, her family, friends and Boston Terrier puppies, Tucker and Charlie.
